Orbital Sound's Sonic Proof-of-Concept

Film visuals captivate the mind's eye. The audio soundtrack catptures the heart and soul. When we curated the post work on the soundtrack for our epic single film screening for this October's fourth season of our Anima Cinefest International Animation Film Festival 2026, we treated the film's stereophonic soundtrack as a launching pad to remix and remaster the original score to better compliment the visuals with a heightened big screen theatrical feel, by upmixing the audio to a 7.1 surround sound immersive experience.
At Orbital Sound, we never treated our client's audio as an afterthought. By using the structural sonic architecture of A-room tools and workflows, we helped launch local indie artists and their music on NPR radio stations coast-to-coast across the U.S. Likewise, a great film soundtrack - even if it is an independent artist led film, deserves the exact same foundational precision and production attention to detail that we deliver.
In studio, the best of class tools and workflows that power the industry not only drive our sonic infrastructure through the Orbital Sound pipeline, it drives our passion for excellence - and those assets alongside our knowledge and experience serve as the ultimate proof that elevates the work we do day in and day out.
In a future blog post, we'll delve deeper into our sonic architecture workflow breakdown, but we'll leave you with another Anima Cinefest clue in the form of a question: What is so magical about a mechanical flying horse? To find out yourself, we'll see you at the movies during Anima Cinefest 2026 this October. How's that for a clue to this year's secret screening?
