Building the infrastructure for independent Expression: The Vision Behind Orbital Sound

Preface:

As a founder, launching with a manifesto of intent does two things at once: it lays the foundation that behind the Orbital Sound "brand" is the authenticity of a single creative person, and it also immediately gives you, the reader an overview of the passion behind the projects.

In framing Orbital Sound as an "independent archetecture of expression" as a creative, I hope to set for myself, a professional, visionary tone. Here, in this first post, are my thoughts on how to structure the creative endeaver to maximize both its emotional human impact and it's technical value.

Here's The "Why" Before the "What"

As an audience member myself, I don't just consume media anymore, I align with the joy of experiencing creative endeavers. As a founder, this first post should focus on the frustration rate indie creators face today. I can relate in my own creative hero's journey through centralized platforms, fragmented, low return distribution arrangements, lack of stability and all that entails. Yet, in thinking upon these very same things compelled me to position Orbital Sound as a solution and not an above mentioned problem.

From the beginning, as a record label, I continued to pursue a different path. The path of my interests. As I knew all along, that I loved making things - that underlying passion drove my thinking with the result of positioning Orbital Sound as an open door solution to continue to make things, even if they just sat on top of my dresser when I was a child, building plastic models. Over the years, I continued to build out Orbital Sound as the solution and key to my artistic soul, as a structured, multi-disciplinary architectural engine. Hence the blog title.

Thanks for reading. In the end, the work can only speak for itself.
